1966 was an important date for Renzo and Alida Frassinelli, they married and it was the starting point of their dream project. They bought 6 acres of land a part of which was already a cultivated vineyard and which is still the heart of their business today.
Thus the creation of a dream to produce wines with a provenance of local vines from the territory.
Beginning with the care and well-being of the vineyard in order to obtain high-quality grapes in harmony with the composition of the soil and in countertrend with respect to viticulture in the 60’s and 70s preferring quantity.
And so the origin of their pathway from an experimental Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 which would become and is still one of their most representative wines.

Renzo was fascinated by this although scarse production and for its complex austere elegance different and innovative. He was aware of the potential above all if tied to the stoney nature of Geron one of the place names present in the business and the version ‘refermentation in bottle’ which would become his most important well-known wine.
Another important step was the custom of reception welcoming wine lovers with particular anecdotes amusing stories and local facts, informal wine tasting, offering enticing local titbits, going for strolls in the vineyards, friendships which remain strong and enhanced by time.

New tendencies and innovative ideas are necessitated to keep true every respected tradition all this has been carried out by Gianluca the son of Renzo and Alida who after concluding his studies in Enologica di Conegliano and receiving his degree in Viticulture and Enologica from the University of Padova.
The vine area is enlarged by vineyards on the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene which permit the beginning of the sparkling wine production process of Glera to obtain Prosecco Superior.
At this point the business requires its own trade brand the choice falls on a goat’s horn a symbol of plenty prosperity and luck.

In 2000 Gianluca takes the reins of the Frassinelli business Renzo continues to follow and care for the vineyards while his daughter Roberta is responsible for the administration exports and communication.
The flourishing Italian Market leads to exports to the main important European countries and the United States which progressively grow due also to the participation of international fairs and specific events always keeping in mind and staying strong not only to a family business but also to the commitment and bond to the territory.
New vineyards are planted, ideal positions are located to each vine with the impeccable ‘know-how’ regarding both the grape variety and soil sustainability, this period also marked the journey to sustainable viticulture and in perfectioning the winemaking process and will bring about the SQNPI certificate in 2019.

Recently also Sarah the wife of Gianluca has decided to collaborate (pending family tasks) in the daily welcoming reception of clients and wine lovers and following the on-line sales of the business.
The organisation of cultural events and joining the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco, Consorzio Vini Venezia and the Movimento Turismo del Vino confirm the importance for the Frassinelli family in the identification with the territory and the cultural welcoming reception which merge and are consolidated by a professional background enriched and upgraded uninterruptedly.
